I’ve been using the Gisou hair oil for a long time and I’m still very happy with it. It makes my hair look shiny and healthy without weighing it down. Because of that, I was really excited to try the Hair Milk. The Milk is also very nice to use. I’m especially happy that, besides the hair oil, there’s now another Gisou product that offers heat protection. I can really tell that my hair looks nicer and healthier when I use it. The only downside for me is the scent. Unfortunately, I find it quite intense and very sweet. I personally loved the scent of the leave-in conditioner (which sadly is no longer available). That one always made me feel happy when I used it. So I was hoping the Milk would have the same fragrance, but unfortunately it doesn’t. Overall, I’m happy with how the product works, but I do wish the scent had been different.

De styling cream ruikt heerlijk en is verzorgend, toch zou ik dit niet aanraden om echt te stylen. Ik merk dat het mijn haar zacht maakt maar hierdoor blijft mijn styling er niet meer inzitten bv krullen zakken sneller uit en mijn bangs vallen direct plat. Haarolie is verzorgend maar wat gelijkaardig aan andere haarolies. Maakt het haar niet vettig!!

I was eager to try this new product from Gisou, and as usual it did not disappoint! My hair is so soft and shiny, and stays the way I styled it. And you only need to use a very small amount so it will last a long time. It truly is investment in your hair, but that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. And the Gisou oil is an all time favourite, much more so in Winter when my hair is suffering from the cold temperatures.

How do I use Honey Milk 5-in-1 Styling Cream?

Apply to damp hair and style as desired. To revive styles, warm a small amount between your hands and work through mid-lengths and ends. BOUNCY BLOWOUTS Apply to clean, damp hair. Using a round brush, blow-dry each section, lifting at the roots for volume and curling the ends inwards for a soft, bouncy curl. For added hold, after drying, roll each section with a velcro roller and clip. Once cool, remove rollers and brush through for a smooth, bouncy blowout. ICONIC CURLS Work into damp hair and blow-dry fully. Curl 1-inch sections away from your face, pinning each to set. Once cool, release and softly brush through for touchable, voluminous curls with lasting shape. SOFT WAVES Apply to damp hair and air dry or blow dry as desired. Curl in alternating directions with a wand or flat iron, leaving the ends out. Once cooled, tousle with fingers or a wide-tooth comb for soft, natural texture. STRAIGHT STYLES Distribute evenly through damp hair and blow-dry with a paddle brush, directing airflow downward for a sleek finish. Use a flat iron to refine, then smooth a tiny amount of product over ends to seal in shine. AIR-DRIED STYLES Begin with clean, damp hair. Take small sections of hair and apply the styling milk to the mid-lengths and ends of each section. Wrap each section around your finger and twist in the direction of your natural curl or coil. Let hair air-dry, then separate curls for volume if desired.
