While both lip oil and lip gloss add shine to your lips, there are differences between the two. Lip oils, like our Gisou Honey Infused Lip Oil, are designed to provide intense hydration and nourishment, thanks to ingredients like Mirsalehi Honey and jojoba oil. Our lip oils offer a smooth, non-sticky finish with a subtle color tint (except for Honey Gold), which leave your lips soft and moisturized. In contrast, lip glosses often provide a thicker, more glossy texture with a higher shine level but may not offer the same level of hydration and are often sticky. We don't have a Gisou lip gloss in our product range, but you never know what's to come!
Why did you reformulate the honey lip oil?
We reformulated our OG Honey Infused Lip Oil because we truly value our customers' feedback and wanted to create a formula that you would love even more than the original. We added jojoba and meadowfoam seed oils to ensure our new ultra-hydrating formula packs a punch with even more hydration and longer wear.

How do you use the Gisou Honey Infused Lip Oil?
Pucker up and swipe on with the lip-hugging applicator for honey-kissed lips. For the softest, smoothest finish, cleanse and exfoliate lips first. For added definition, line your lips with a lip liner before applying the honey lip oil.
Is the Honey Gold lip oil shimmery?
No, our Honey Gold lip oil is not shimmery but it is glossy. We do have shimmery lip oil shades, including our Watermelon Sugar lip oil and our new shade, Glazed Plum. If you're looking for a tinted lip oil, then you can explore our juicy, fruit-inspired lip oils including Mango Passion Punch, Strawberry Sorbet, Rasberry Swirl and Bee-llini Peach.
